Water Play!

Another way we're taking advantage of the summer weather is with water! We broke out the wading pool for the season and Henry is working hard to make the most of it. He even convinced Daddy to join him since pools are even more fun with others. :)







Owen decided he wasn't ready to swim yet and watched his big brother from a safe distance. And after a few stray splashes, Tilly decided to stay back with Owen.







Henry and Daddy took turns splashing each other . . .





Henry also loved Daddy's "waterfalls" and making it rain (splashing everyone around him, of course!)







And on another day, we decided to try out the caterpillar sprinkler that Henry got for his birthday. Henry wasn't sure about it at first (and to be fair, the water did spray at face level for him), but after some cautious exploring he decided it was lots of fun and keeps asking for "ca pillar? Water? Please!"







Daddy helped Henry jump over the sprinkler and Owen even joined in on the fun (although he may not remember, because there's a good chance he slept through it).



We're keeping our fingers crossed for many more warm days in store! There are many things to love about each season, but I think summer might be my favorite. Who doesn't love longer days and plenty of opportunities to play outside?
