A Playdate with Harper

On Sunday Harper invited Henry over for a playdate (well, ok, the Mommies set it up, but she was still excited). :) . . . You'll note Henry in the background sneaking Harper's binky . . . And a borrowed binky to make everyone happy . . . As you can see by the look in their eyes, they were tuckered out and ready for a nap after a few hours!

The Sunday Paper

On Sunday, we decided to have a lazy morning and read the paper while Henry played. But he had other ideas. Once he saw the paper pile, he just had to have it. Reaching . . . Almost there . . . Just a little farther . . . Oopsies . . . Aha, it worked! . . . Digging for the perfect article . . . Interesting . . . And a break . . . What a fun fun thing to play with (and roll in)! . . . A perfect morning in our opinion! :)

Tulip Festival

While Daddy was at work on Saturday, Henry and I headed out to the Tulip Festival with Heidi, Liam and Heidi's friend Deanna. It was a beautiful sunny day and perfect for a walk out in the tulips. Of course we had to do a photo shoot. But Liam and Henry weren't really in to it. Can you blame them? :) Henry looking everywhere but the camera . . . Checking out the tulips . . . Gotta see what they feel like . . . Fine, Mommy, if I look at the camera, will the photo shoot be over? And the hat? Ok, Ok, we're done. Time to walk around and maybe a nap. Ok, one last picture. No need to wake for it . . . :) He fell asleep at the right time. Since he was sleeping, he missed out on pictures in the wooden shoes, in front of the windmill and many other cute photo shoot opportunities.

Thank you Grandma & Grandpa!!

Henry's daycare was closed this week for Spring Break. What are two tax accountants to do? Luckily Grandma Connie and Grandpa Gary were able to come out to watch him for the week and he had a lot of fun with them. Here they are when they first arrived. Henry had a good time throwing the ball off the couch (for Mommy to retrieve) :) . . . Team Grandpa! (and Grandma, but we didn't have a shirt for that). . . Playing with Grandpa, Daddy and Tilly . . . Brenna and Ashtyn were even here for a visit. All the cousins playing . . . Grandpa, Grandma and the grandkids . . . And a last bottle with Grandma before they took off . . . Thanks for all the help Grandma and Grandpa! We couldn't have done it without you!

Happy Birthday Daddy!!

Friday was Daddy's birthday and we celebrated with a little cake. Grandma and Grandpa Reagan were able to be there to help celebrate the day as well. We couldn't decide whether to give Henry a little cake or wait until his 1st birthday. Henry was able to convince us to give him a little piece with his sad little looks at the cake. "Don't you want to share that with me??" :) OK, here you go . . . Hmm, what is this? After the initial shock, he ate up every last crumb! I guess he has Mommy's sweet tooth! . . . Helping Daddy open up his gift . . . Yay! Paper!! Happy Birthday Daddy!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Henry is very excited for St. Patrick's Day! . . . Yay!! . . . And, not quite a Leprechaun, but the only little green friend he has :) . . . Is this the gold at the end of the rainbow? And a picture taken when he was 6 months old (for a calendar, we really don't do photoshoots all the time). :) . . . Happy St. Patty's Day everyone!
