As you can see, he's much happier not in his costume, but we still think he looks cute in it!

Mommy & Daddy, Look at How Big I Am!

So, Henry was in his swing relaxing today, and decided he would show us how big he is. He went from sitting back staring out the window nice and relaxed to sitting straight up and sending Mommy and Daddy running to the swing to keep him from wiggling out. Oh how he's grown . . .

A Train Ride to the Pumpkin Patch . . .

This Sunday we headed out to yet another pumpkin patch. We went with our friends Ty, Jay and Harper. This patch had a train out to the pumpkin patch and a petting zoo. Henry really enjoyed riding the train. Pumpkin patch here I come! . . .

Once the mommies realized that they had the same Halloween shirt and pumpkin hat, there was no getting out of this photo shoot! Considering this photo shoot had two babies at the same time, I think it was pretty successful.






Dressing alike must run in the families. Mommies, Daddies and now sons have all dressed alike! And no, besides the babies, the others were not planned! :)

And Sunday Makes Three . . .

It was a bit colder on Sunday, but still dry, so we headed out to another pumpkin patch. Won't know which one is best until we try them all! We went through another corn maze and finally picked out pumpkins . . .

It's supposed to start raining this week, so who knows if we'll be able to hit any more patches, but we'll be ready if it drys out again!

Another Day, Another Patch

This weekend was a beautiful fall weekend, so of course we went to another pumpkin patch! We met the Heaphy family for some pumpkin patch fun. . .

He was not as willing for the photo shoot this time, but to be fair it was pretty bright out . . .

Henry at 5 Months . . .

Yesterday, Henry was 5 months old!! We can't believe how fast he's growing (I know, I know, I say that a lot). :) Since we didn't take him to the doctor this month, we tried to weigh and measure him ourselves. According to our fancy weighing system (weigh Mommy, hand Henry to Mommy and weigh again), he's just about 15 pounds! That's more than twice what he weighed at birth. Our measuring system (try and hold measuring tape next to him as he wiggles around), wasn't as exact. We measured him at 24.5 inches. According to the doctor, he was 24.75 inches at 4 months. We're pretty sure he didn't shrink, so we'll say he's about 25 inches long. :)

And to be fair (since he wears Duck gear), he also has to wear Vandal gear on gameday. Daddy couldn't be prouder . . .

One Pumpkin Patch down . . .

And many more to go!! Going to the pumpkin patch on a nice October day is the perfect fall activity. We had a great start last weekend with Heidi, Pat and Liam. It was pretty cold, but dry. We went through our first corn maze and looked at all the pumpkins. The mommies and daddies had lots of fun and I'm pretty sure Henry and Liam did too! :)
