Henry turned six months old last Monday! He's growing and changing so much everyday. At his 6 month appointment, he weighed 16 pounds, 4 ounces and he was 26.5 inches long! Unfortunately, Henry broke out in hives last week. :( He didn't seem to notice them much, but they sure made Mommy and Daddy itchy just looking at them! They seem to be pretty much cleared up now, but they had us a little worried about allergies for awhile. I guess it's pretty common for babies to get hives and for the doctor to never figure out where they came from. As long as they go away, we're happy! I think it was his way of getting out of his 6 month shots, but little does he know, he'll probably get them next week!

Henry had some exciting accomplishments in the last few weeks. He's loved holding on to our hands and standing for a few months now, but he finally learned how to move his feet. He loves "walking" all over. It makes Mommy and Daddy a bit nervous since it shows how quickly he might be able to move around on his own (and get into things!). :)

He also rolled from his back to front. He's been rolling to his sides and almost over for quite some time, but he happened to hit the side of his blanket and push all the way over. He wasn't very happy about it, since that meant he was on his tummy! He promptly rolled back over to his back (before Mommy could get the camera).

He moved quite the distance from his blanket! :)

Another big accomplishment: He learned how to sit on his own! He's been working on it for quite a while and he was finally able to put it all together. The trick is remembering to balance even when reaching for that shiny toy!

He's been playing so hard, he crashed sitting up in his swing! Now that he's sitting, he doesn't want to lean back and miss a thing!

Tilly's a big fan of her new bed, but she's a bit unsure if she likes how close Henry is in his swing! :)

And more playing . . .

Grandma Debbie came over to hang out with Henry while we hung Christmas lights (and yes, we know it's early, but we had to take advantage of the dry day!) We promise they won't be on until after Thanksgiving! :)
