Happy 15 Months Henry!

On Monday, Henry turned 15 months old. Can you believe it? :) We went to the doctor for his checkup and everything looked good! And in case you were curious, his official stats are: 20lbs, 4 oz & 30 3/4 inches long. Such a growing boy. It is so fun to watch him explore and learn so much every day. His biggest accomplishment? Walking! He's been working his way up to this from the moment he took his first steps, but still wasn't sure about it. Yesterday, he finally realized what walking could do for him, and Mommy and Daddy haven't been able to keep up since! He's also started talking a lot, and so far some of the words we can understand are "Uh-Oh" (a longtime favorite), "Hi", "Bye", "Dog" and of course the new favorite, "No!". :)

Here are some recent pictures . . .

Today we headed to the coast to visit Grandma Debbie and Grandpa Mike. We had a great time and very much enjoyed the cooler coast weather!

And of course some playing in the sand and building sand castles . . .

Also this week, Henry got to visit with his cousins Brenna and Ashtyn (and Uncle Jake and Aunt Shauna). I guess we had so much fun with them we forgot to take any pictures! Thanks for visiting and we can't wait to see you again!!

Road Trip to Idaho - Part 2

We ventured to Sun Valley and walked around the village and pond. We even watched some ice skaters at the rink. Henry enjoyed looking at the ducks around the pond and practicing his walking . . .

Road Trip to Idaho

Last week we traveled to Idaho to visit with Grandma Connie & Grandpa Gary. While the drive was long, we had a wonderful time.

On the way there, we went Geoffrey & Ashley's wedding reception. They even had some fun playground equipment to play on. Congrats you two!!

After staying the night nearby, we were off again towards Idaho. We made lots of stops to stretch our legs, but we made it!

They had fun tractor toys for Henry to play with . . .

And we even went out for ice cream. We sat Henry on the table while we ate the ice cream, and he made sure scoot to each of us to try out the different flavors before he had to be cut off. "Mommy, don't you dare take away the ice cream!" :)

Daddy and Henry playing in the sprinkler . . .

Grandma even took Daddy and Henry on a tractor ride (well, a swather to be exact, but it was the same to Henry). :) . . .
