July Park Adventures

Since summer was slow to arrive, we have been trying to take advantage of as many sunny days as we can. And one of Henry's favorite activities is going to the park. "Henry park? Mommy's car? OK!" is what we hear if Henry ever thinks we're headed out. Since I'm slow to blog, I thought I would include all the park adventures for the month on one post (at least all the adventures we have pictures of).

Park #1

Owen slept in his car seat while Henry explored the playground. Henry did lots of digging, running, sliding, climbing, swinging, hanging, pretty much anything available.









Park #2

Well, actually this is a different part of park #1, but a different day. We had a picnic on the sand and made sure to feed the ducks!





Park #3

Another day, another park. Grandma Connie and Grandpa Gary came for a visit last week and I was happy to have a few extra hands available to help with the boys. Henry was excited to show them around the local parks!











Park #4

Henry also wanted to show them around one of our favorite parks (as you can tell, since it's also park #1 & 2 on this post).









Grandma was kind enough to take some family photos of us. Unfortunately, Henry was not interested in stopping to take pictures, so we'll have to try for more family photos another time. But here are a few that we did get . . .







While Henry was busy playing, Owen was perfecting his snuggles.







I sure hope summer sticks around for awhile, because we're enjoying our park adventures! And thanks for visiting Grandma and Grandpa, we had a great time with you!
