Winter Adventure

Since it was a dry day, we decided to head out for a walk and a wagon ride! We stopped at a local park to run around and get some energy out. :) Daddy pulling Henry in the wagon (with Tilly's help) . . . Wheeee! . . . Who says you can't play outside in January? :) . . . Daddy, Henry & Tilly . . . Mommy & Henry . . .

Now and Then . . .

While organizing the office, Henry ran across some of his old baby things. Just to make sure he didn't still need them, he had to try them out. :) Trying out his bouncy seat . . . Yep, too small for him! . . . And, to compare, here are pictures of Henry in the same bouncy seat when he was about 1 month . . . I'd say he's grown a little since then! :) He also tried out his old bath (taking time to calculate his measurements) . . . Had to squeeze his legs in there . . . Here he is at 1 week old . . . And last January . . . Such a funny guy, he had a great time relaxing in the bouncy seat and sitting in his bath. I think we will just put those away for baby #2. :)

Coming Summer 2011 . . .

Baby Reagan II! That's right, Henry is going to be a big brother! The first trimester was a bit rough, but I'm starting to get more energy and am not feeling as sick. The baby is due July 13th and we'll get to find out whether it's a boy or girl at the end of February. We are so excited and couldn't be happier. Here are some pictures of the baby in December . . . This one is a bit harder to see, but it's a top view of the baby with the hands together in front of the face. . . I don't think Henry really understands what is happening, but we're excited for him to be a big brother! And of course the announcement wouldn't be complete without a Big Brother photo shoot . . . And trying to put the lens cap back on the camera. Guess that's the end of the shoot! . . .

Our New Years Project

Henry was up in the office on New Year's Day going through our year end statements . . . Finally, he looked up at us with a look, and we knew what that look meant. After almost 4 years of living here, it was finally time to get the office in shape. How can he work in that environment? :) . . . So, with Mommy and Daddy's help (and Tilly's supervision), he got to work. Taping . . . Painting . . . Cleaning up . . . Assembling the new desk . . . And even inspecting the quality of our work . . . Boy was he not happy to find the computer in that cupboard when he went back to it after a nap! :) . . . And finally, it was done! Here are the before and after pictures (and yes, I do realize that the mess was at least 90% of the problem, but now the room is complete AND clean!) . . .
