
However, his patience wore thin as we're not the quickest toddler stylists just yet . . .

Oh, and for the record, that is not a knife in his hand; it's just a little brush to wipe the hair away. :)
However, the shower with Daddy seemed to make up for it. He especially liked the drying off part as he raced around the house in his superman cape of a towel. . .



In honor of his superhero-like moves, we put on his Batman shirt and headed down to play.
He practiced walking down the stairs (YAY!! We've been trying to work on that as I'm having a harder and harder time carrying him down the stairs with my growing belly) . . .

He practiced playing basketball . . .


And we even brought out the bat so he could practice swinging at the baseball. And so far, he has yet to get the bat taken away! This is quite an improvement from the first time we let him try out the bat. He got it taken away quickly once he started testing it out on a nearby window and had his sights set on Tilly. But this time, he was focused on using it the right way! . . .


OK, not quite correctly, but despite Daddy showing him which side to hold, he found the handle side to be much more accurate at hitting. :)
