On our Mommy & Henry day, we headed out to do some errands and enjoy every drop of sun. After his nap, we hung out on the deck and Henry helped water the flowers . . .

We even ventured out into the jungle of our back yard to make the most of the day. And while usually this would make me find a way to mow the lawn (or at least think about it) for ease of walking around the yard, I was happy to play the pregnancy card on this one and just ignore it. Tilly did her best to mow it with her teeth one blade at a time, while Henry seemed quite entertained by the knee deep grass.

And to top of the wonderful day, we met Daddy at swimming lessons! They did all sorts of activities that we hadn't seen before and Henry had a great time. And more importantly, I'm proud that this was the lesson I brought the camera too! :)

Practicing his underwater glides
He loved the ring pull game. He didn't even care when it dipped his head unexpectedly under the water.

Oh, and I have no idea who the boy on the step is in the background, but I love how it looks like he fell asleep waiting for his turn!
On a Seahorse ride . . .

Practicing his back floats with the noodle . . .

Showing off his treasures that he swam for . . .

And he even enjoyed the Magic Carpet Ride with his teacher in honor of Disney week at the pool.

This morning, Henry and I headed to the park to meet up with Ty and Harper. We took a quick walk (and by quick, I mean slow and short since I feel a bit waddly these days) and then we hit up the playground.
Harper and Henry made the most of their time exploring all the equipment. They did lots of climbing, running and sliding.

So much fun and we already have a list of outdoor activities to do once the sun shows up again! Although, the bright side of the rainy weather is it gives me the perfect excuse to stay in tomorrow and work on some of my nesting projects/cleaning.
